HSC Recreational Pathway Mission
Our mission is to foster a love for soccer by providing a supportive and development-focused environment where every player is encouraged to reach their full potential while learning the fundamental principles of the game.
Registration
Parents MUST register their children online.
HSC uses a blind draft system when forming teams. We CANNOT honor any special requests for team placement or practice nights. Please keep this in mind when registering.
Structure of Recreational Soccer
There is plenty to learn in our progressive and fun recreational program. Our youngest players start with fewer players on the field, a smaller ball, no goalkeepers, and coaches right out on the field guiding them as they go. As the players mature, the elements of the game change. Field size, number of players, and ball size gradually increase, and we see the addition of goalies. This progressive process is designed to be age-appropriate and grow with the child.
Recreational U4, U6, U8
(Cost: U4 $155, U6 $185, U8 $195)
- Small-sided, 4v4 games range from 6-8- 12 min quarters.
- One night a week practices (Determined by Head Coach)
- These ages work on touches of the ball and rudimentary concepts of the game.
U7, U8 Recreational Development Program (RDP)
(Cost: $250)
- Two nights per week practices (Mon & Wed)
- Plus game day
- Professional Coaching
- Focused on 'ball mastery"
- Improves individual core skills
- Accelerated skill development
- Aimed at players who want to further their soccer development.
Recreational U10-U12
(Cost" U10 $245, U12 $270)
- Small-sided, 7v7 / 9v9 games range from 25 min to 30 min halves.
- Practices two nights per week. (Determined by Head Coach)
- U10 works on the added goalkeeper position, positioning of players, and the further development of skills.
Recreational U15, TARSA U19
(Cost: U15 $270, TARSA $320)
- Full size, 11v11, games ranging from 35-45 min halves.
- Practices two nights per week (Determined by Head Coach)
- These ages continue the development of all Fundamental skills.
**Practice**
U8 and under= practice 1/x week
U10 and older= practice 2/x week
Practice Days will be Monday, Wednesday, and/or Friday
Practice Times can be 6pm-7pm, 7pm-8pm and 8pm-9pm
***Games***
All Games will be played on Saturdays at the Anderson Snow Park Complex unless otherwise arranged.
